Roger Kimball Wises Up
Maybe Kimball read my last post. Arts and Letters Daily included a linkthis weekend to this article where he argues against Rudyard Kipling's racism (along with a typical Aesthetic argument).
I've not read Kipling (I've seen Disney's Jungle Book, which has its own share of odd racial tensions), so I can't join in on the discussion. Anyone?
I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Georgia specializing in Existentialist and Southern literature. I live in Tallahassee with my wife, Victoria, a PhD student at Florida State University.
